NAPPA Clinics offer FREE Information and Health Education Sessions

Information and Formal Education Sessions

Each NAPPA clinic offers FREE information and health education sessions, and distributes leaflets, booklets and posters on many topics of interest, including: 
• Pap smear screening 
• Teenage pregnancy
• Puberty
• Sexual and gender based violence (SGBV)
• Sexually transmitted infections (STIs)/HIV and AIDS
• Substance abuse
• Dangers of unsafe abortion
• How to use condoms and lubricant
NAPPA also has staff and youth peer educators who provide life skills and sexuality education to adolescents in schools, as well as youth who are out of school.  These lessons cover topics such as puberty (physical and emotional changes in the body as a person grows), STIs, HIV and AIDS, contraceptives, teenage pregnancy, building healthy relationships and self confidence.
